集中排屑系统是指在一个车间内设置一套或多套主排屑装置。同时在柔性生产线和机床下另设支线排屑装置。工作时，切屑先由机床自带的排屑器送至支线排屑装置，然后经由支线排屑装置运至主排屑装置内，后由主排屑装置将其运至指定区域，切屑可进行断屑粉碎、离心甩干、打包压块。整个过程自动控制，高效稳定，可节省工人每天清理切屑时间，大大降低了工人的劳动强度，同时也保证了生产车间的美观和整洁。
       集中排屑系统主要用于机加工生产线的铁屑收集与处理。集中排屑线可用于收集和处理各种碎状、卷状、团状、条状、块状切屑。 整个排屑过程中，支线排屑装置和主排屑装置可根据现场的工况、设备的布局，选用链板式、螺旋式或步进式排屑装置。输送系统尾端结合粉碎机、甩干机、压块机、打包机等进行铁屑集中处理。
